Seek Girl V is a puzzle game developed and published by DSGame and released on August 28th 2020. It's the 5th mainline game in the Seek Girl series, and came out on the same day as Seek Girl: Fog I. This is the only game in the series that I've played but from what I can tell they're all pretty much the same.

You are... a guy. And you have to solve puzzles to... save? the girls! I'll be honest there really is like 0 story here. There's no dialogue, written or otherwise. You go from level to level, solve a puzzle, and receive sex.

The puzzles of Seek Girl V are similar in style to Helltaker, but lack the charm. The tileset is always the same, even the girl at the end of the puzzle is always the same. You move blocks to fill voids, and then you walk to the end. If you're like me and feel like you're a big hotshot with puzzle games, but were thrown through a loop when you discovered that the later levels of Helltaker are actually difficult... you'll find no such difficulty here. The most I had to retry any level was once or twice. They're short and obvious. There's hidden gems to pick up but they are almost always attainable in the simplest route. No one is going to be playing this game for challenging puzzles. So, if that's the case, what are people going to play this game for? I'll tell you:

That's right. This is another game like Cyber Agent, where the actual gameplay is nothing but a low barrier way to unlock the sex scenes. There's some trickiness involved though. Out of the box, the game is nothing but the puzzles, and then at the end you get a still image of a waifu, but it's always cropped too close to actually see anything good. Installing the free patch available on Steam will unlock the real sex scenes, but for some reason it didn't work the first time I installed it. I wonder if it's because I started the game before installing the patch, I'm not sure. This resulted in me playing through all 14 levels and only receiving pictures like this as a reward for my genius puzzle solving moves:

However after seeing some screenshots of full nudity in the Steam discussion pages, I realized that something must have gone wrong. So I fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the uncensor patch. After a minute or two I was back in the game, everything still unlocked, but now I could actually see something worth seeing! On top of that there is a strong theme of bondage throughout the scenes, which is something that is occasionally played with in lewd games, but often just a single scene as a side thought. A pair of handcuffs here or there. This game has actual bondage positions and whipping.

  There's only one horny aspect in this game, and it's the sex scenes. After each level you unlock one for a new girl. Each scene has 3 sections.

There's 14 girls to choose from with plenty of different body types, from DFC to Milk Monster

These scenes are partially animated. Really it just means that the girls are kind of squirming around, but it's definitely something! However there's something strange with these animated scenes. They're fully voiced in Japanese, but this is a Chinese game. There also seem to be some repeat voices for different characters, and sounds that don't quite match up. I strongly suspect that the audio used in these scenes was take from other games or videos. I hope that if that's the case that DSGame paid for them in some way.

While I was initially playing through this game, and I thought that the cropped still images were the extent of the lewdity, I was going to give this game a negative review. I was already writing it in my head as I finished the game to unlock nothing. After going back and reinstalling the uncensor patch, I can truly appreciate this game for what it is. The gameplay is nonexistent, but for a 2 dollar game with 14 sex scenes, I think that's okay. This is the type of thing you're supposed to load up every once in a while when you want some special alone time. It's not the type of game you play for fun.
